My client is the largest mobile operator in the World and are looking to expand thier National sales team with major accounts sales professionals. You will be responsible for around 12 key accounts across your defined vertical. These could include Financial, Media, Government, IT, Transport, Utilities, Retail, Construction or Legal.
The new position of major accounts manager is a senior position in the Corporate Business team. The role holder is responsible for the development and retention of a number of major accounts and strategically growing these opportunities across a full range of convergence solutions.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1) In co-operation with the Sector Business Manager, creating and implementing account development strategies that succeed in exploiting the full business potential of the client base, in line with business targets and objectives.
2) Understand and sell the whole product portfolio, including voice, data and new customer solutions as introduced to grow revenue within the defined client base. Particularly focus on new product/services and international opportunities.
3) Develop close relationships at every appropriate level and fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the accounts.
4) Proactively seek opportunities to create new revenue streams including joint Business Development activity.
5) Manage the virtual customer team, interfacing with other internal departments as required to ensure that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
6) Lead all negotiations and tender submissions and facilitate and manage communications between The Company and the prospect to the highest professional standards.
