Diesel Generator Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to the head of sales this position is to actively promote the sale of diesel generators within the Home Counties of England. (Essex to Oxfordshire to Hampshire).
Scope of work
The scope of this role is defined as: -
Working with the head of sales
*Identify key
o Consultants
o Contractors
o End users
* Develop relationships with key decision makers within the target client audience
*Work to develop the brand in the defined territory by means of
o Personal appointment
o Seminars
o Co-ordinated promotional events
*To assess client need
*Prepare cost estimates and customer quotations
*Follow up on all quotations
*Prepare and present monthly territory reports
*Continuous territory planning

Knowledge / Educational Requirements / Experience
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post education in a field based external customer facing technical capital sales environment. Good customer handling skills are essential along with a sound commercial perspective. Have a good level of IT skills and be very familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. The candidate must have had exposure to and an understanding of ISO 9000.
The candidate will have a formal electrical or mechanical qualification (HNC / HND) and ideally have experience of working within a diesel generator sales environment preferably in the territory area.
Package:
Salary and bonus package will be linked directly to experience and performance
Salary £30k - £35k (depending on experience)
